Sailing Skies is a 1-bedroom Pocono cottage on a quiet road just up from Lake Wallenpaupack — Pennsylvania's largest lake and one of its most underrated weekends.
It's small on purpose. Designed for two, with the things a couple actually wants on a getaway: a real coffee setup, a comfortable bed, a private hot tub that runs year-round, and a fire pit out back. The boat launch and lakeside restaurants are five minutes down the road; downtown Hawley with its breweries and shops is just past that.

The area
Lake Wallenpaupack is a 13-mile lake in the Northern Poconos with public beaches, boat launches, and lakeside restaurants. Downtown Hawley is a 5-minute drive — independent shops, breweries, and a tiny dose of nightlife.
Best for: a couple's weekend, a romantic getaway, a remote-work week with somewhere actually pleasant to log off. We see a lot of repeat guests here for a reason.
